Insignia
Even though we aren't at Level 3 yet, so we couldn't use it on EE, we can begin tossing ideas around for our guild's insignia. Since we're just a mish-mash of crazy people ATM, there's no real guild themes besides RPing and unity, the latter of which is pretty much central to any decent guild. Otherwise, everyone just wants to kill everyone else and nothing gets done. XD Feel free to doodle, sketch, describe, etc. when suggesting an insignia. Just no interpretive dance. No one likes interpretive dance.

Organization
Someone asked yesterday whether or not we could have different "Orders" in the guild, such as a Mage's Order, a Knight's Order, etc. This can be done on here fairly easily, but in EE it'd be nearly undoable, or at least challenging. I will be taking order suggestions and whether or not we should implement this system, although I do have general ideas myself. For example, an order for each class archetype(Tank, Melee DPS, Ranged DPS, Magic DPS, Healing/Support), with members whose main class is in that archetype. Of course, to make this more effective, we'd need more members.

Recruiting/Membership
As of now, all guild members can recruit. If you have friends or family playing the game who are into RP and not already devoted to a guild, suggest our little mess to them. I will be starting World Chat recruiting soon, as annoying as I find it, and hopefully we'll find some fresh blood to liven things up. And current members, please try to complete at least one or two guild quests. We can't get fame if no one tries.

Guild Chat RPing
We'll begin RPing in guild chat today and tomorrow, using the time to assimilate from the random blather we've been doing to in-character conversations. Remember to use a marker when speaking out of character (such as OOC:, [ ] , = =, etc.) and try to be somewhat civil in character. And to keep things PG-13, of course, but that should already be implied. If you haven't filled out a character sheet, please do so. They're not absolutely needed for RPing in EE, but they're quite handy and helpful, especially if/when you continue the RP on here.

Suggestions
If you have any further suggestions for the guild or ideas on how to improve things, please make sure to post them in the Suggestions forum. All members get a voice, and if you don't like something or think it could be better, say so! This is a democratic guild, especially since there's so few of us.

Yes, RP is short for roleplay/roleplaying. It's where you create a character and act as they do. For example, if you created a grumpy Ursun(one of the bear races), then while roleplaying you'd have to act grumpy. You can make your character as alike or different from you as you'd like. For tips on roleplaying and making a character, go here and read up on it. ^_^ Also, make sure to read the RP rules sometime; they might help you out a bit. The character sheet in the Characters forum is designed to be straightforward and simple, so you shouldn't have too big of an issue with it when/if you do make a character.

If you're still nervous about jumping right in, then you can hold off on creating a character and just watch how the others RP in guild chat and on the forums. There's no rush to join immediately, and you don't have to join at all if you don't want to. You can still participate in here and chat in guild chat and no one will ostracize you. ^_^
