Nora is moving :O

yes I am and I will not be seeing anyone again! Nor shall you hear from me ever!

But in truth yes I'm moving. Actually it's happening right now since I'm totally typing this one the plane. But I will be now living in Massachusetts, US. And oh my gosh am I nervous since everything in America is so weird. If any of you guys have advice I would love to have it. Also be prepared to have me on at weird hours as I try to fix my sleep schedule with the new time zone.

You can bother me if you'd like. XD I'm pretty familiar with Massachusetts (Connecticut is just under it! ...being jealous D:<) so don't hesitate to bother me about anything you find really weird! You can PM me whenever you like, since my schedule is -always- crazy.

Basically, the most fundamental rules are just be safe - don't go anywhere with strangers (getting into/too close to their cars, going into their homes alone, leaving an area your friends know you are in without them), don't take food or drink from strangers (Unless they work for a the company and are handing out free samples, you paid for it, etc.), don't leave your bags out in public (If you have to keep your bag down, put it between your feet or loop the strap around your leg with the top leaning against your leg) and if you're carrying cash, keep it in multiple locations on your person in case you lose some.

Don't worry too much about your accent yet, I doubt most people could place it unless they already know Finnish people. If you want to have some fun try out American accents on the plane! You can use YouTube videos to pick up intonations, pay attention to where the words usually form in your mouth versus where the words seem to form in their mouths and how that changes the sound.

You're amazing though, so I'm sure you'll do fine.
EDIT: If you have time, PLEASE look at a list of US coins. I've had Canadians complain about them and their lack of numbers actually on the coin, so if you don't already know it can pay off quickly to learn. If you're paying for something you can usually just give the person your highest dollar bill and they'll do the proper exchange for you, but things like buses, tolls, pay phones and vending machines will want you to be more specific.

probably for other people, but not really for me since Poland is pretty much near Finland and a lot of our words and such is roughly somewhat the same-ish.

Where the words go mainly. Some placements are a bit different and get me confused.

also the grammar rule change depending on the word so its not really a rule, you just have to learn the word itself... i myself know very very good english but i think it's not a very organized language

It's like they just did not want to sound the same as British english so they changed things without thinking it through :\ IMO
